As described in the previous chapters every scenario must be linked to a model to provide recommendations. It is possible (and also makes sense in most cases) to add several models to a scenario. In the configuration interface there is a matrix provided for the configuration. One can drag available models from the left to the scenario configuration on the right.

The scenario configuration field has several rows. Models located in the same row will be used in parallel and the result will be a mix from all used models. Models located on the second and third row will be used only if models from the row above return no or not enough results.

On the right side of the first rows there's a button to configure category usage in the recommendation request. This is described in detail in 7. Category Filter. A possible configuration could look like as follow:

First recommendations from the "Also purchased" and "Also clicked" will be presented to the user. If no or not enough recommendations are available, the "Stereotype" model will be requested. If there are still not enough products in the result set, the "Top purchased" products will be added according to the amount of requested recommendations.

Every model can be adjusted after it was added to the scenario. Depending on the model type, different additional properties can be set. Here is an example for the "Also purchased" model.

In difference to the model configuration described in the chapter 5. Recommendation Models the configuration done in this step is applied only to the selected scenario.
